The XR-2 continued the XR-1 125 trail-bike formula into 1990, with the same liquid-cooled reed-valve two-stroke and chassis figures in the sources found. It keeps the tall 21-inch front wheel and inverted forks of its predecessor. Differences from the XR-1 are not documented in the pages opened.
